Track at Main Street Station is being removed and replaced during the ongoing refurbishment of the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom.
The railroad has been closed since September 2024. Its scheduled return date is October 29, according to WDWMAGIC.
Main Street Station is the railroad’s stop at the entrance to Magic Kingdom, making the track replacement a visible part of the work for guests arriving on Main Street, U.S.A.
