Walt Disney World has announced six new dining locations planned for 2027, tied to major additions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the upcoming Disney Lakeshore Lodge resort.
At Animal Kingdom, The Hacienda is set to open in Pueblo Esperanza, the planned Tropical Americas area replacing DinoLand U.S.A. Disney has said the quick-service restaurant will be among the largest of its kind at Walt Disney World. The new area is also slated to include Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto and El Carrusel de los Animalitos.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will add two restaurants as part of its Monstropolis development. Harryhausen’s Restaurant, inspired by the fictional location in Monsters, Inc., will feature Japanese-inspired food and a large Sushi Chef Audio-Animatronic. A second option, Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, will replace the former PizzeRizzo restaurant with a more casual pizza-focused venue.
The first phase of Monstropolis is expected to open in 2027, although Disney has said the land’s door-vault coaster will not be complete when that initial phase opens.

Three additional restaurants are planned for Disney Lakeshore Lodge, a new Disney Vacation Club resort being built at the former River Country site. Moonglade will be a table-service restaurant with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, plus floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding landscape.
Bay Lake Provisions will be a marketplace-style quick-service location serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will offer shareable food and specialty beverages beside the resort’s zero-entry pool at Lakeshore Lagoon. Disney Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open in 2027.
