Six new Notices of Commencement have been filed for general construction work at Walt Disney World, including one location near Magic Kingdom and five around Disney Springs.
The Magic Kingdom filing concerns a building behind The Haunted Mansion. Disney has not announced the purpose of the work or identified what the building will contain. Disney Food Blog noted it may correspond with a structure shown near the attraction in the Piston Peak model displayed at D23, but that has not been confirmed by Disney.
At Disney Springs, filings name The BOATHOUSE, Paddlefish, Raglan Road and the LEGO Store, along with the pedestrian bridge connecting the area near Frontera Cocina and Pandora Jewelry with Raglan Road and Morimoto Asia.
