Disney Springs visitors have two recently reviewed sweet options to consider, each taking a different approach to tropical flavors. Amorette’s Patisserie is serving a Toasted Coconut Flan for $9, while The Ganachery has a seasonal Mango Chili Lime Square for $3.
The Toasted Coconut Flan combines coconut flan with coconut pound cake, chocolate and caramelized pineapple. Disney Food Blog found coconut to be the dominant flavor, with a creamy, rich flan and moist pound cake. Coconut flakes add a bit of crunch, while the chocolate and pineapple bring richness and sweetness to the dessert.
Over at The Ganachery, the Mango Chili Lime Square features mango ganache enrobed in dark chocolate and finished with chili-lime seasoning. The review found dark chocolate to be the leading flavor, with mango providing a subtler note and the spicy seasoning adding contrast.
