Most dining districts ask you to pick a restaurant. The Landing at Disney Springs asks you to pick a chapter. Tucked along the waterfront, four neighboring spots — Pizza Ponte, Maria & Enzo's Ristorante, Enzo's Hideaway, and The Edison — are designed as interconnected pieces of a single fictional history rooted in Disney Springs' imagined past as a restored waterfront town.
The story begins at Pizza Ponte, conceived as the casual neighborhood Italian bakery where a couple named Maria and Enzo first built their food-and-travel-inspired business. Sicilian-style pizza, house-baked pastries, and handcrafted sandwiches make it an easy quick stop — but it's also the opening scene. Next door, Maria & Enzo's Ristorante picks up the tale inside what's imagined as a 1930s Art Deco air terminal, complete with vaulted ceilings and former boarding gates repurposed as dining booths. The menu leans into Southern Italian cuisine, homemade pastas, and Italian wines, all framed by sweeping views of Lake Buena Vista.
From there, the narrative takes a turn underground. Enzo's Hideaway occupies tunnels beneath Disney Springs that, in the fictional backstory, once serviced a neighboring power plant before becoming a Prohibition-era rum runner hideout. The atmosphere shifts dramatically — graffiti-covered walls, moody lighting, Roman-influenced dishes, and creative cocktails replace the golden-age glamour upstairs. Finally, following those tunnels to their source leads to The Edison, set inside the imagined industrial power plant that served as the hub of it all. By evening, The Edison layers live entertainment and inventive cocktails on top of its towering, vintage-industrial setting, pulling the whole narrative arc together.
The connective tissue across all four venues is Disney Imagineering's attention to storytelling detail — architecture, menus, music, and décor all chosen to reinforce each location's place in the shared timeline rather than simply look atmospheric. A guest who visits only one spot gets a themed dinner; a guest who moves through all four gets something closer to an evening-long story walk.
