Disney Springs is getting into the Halloween spirit early this year, with seasonal food and drinks arriving on August 11 and running through November 9. The highlight is the return of the Halloween Overlay at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, which comes back with spooky décor and a slate of mostly new menu items.
On the savory side, the Hangar Bar is debuting Candelabra Eggs — deviled eggs topped with crispy fried chicken, sweet-and-tart pepper sauce, and aji amarillo custard — alongside Bone Kebabs with prosciutto and creamy tomato sauce, a Dark Forest Dip featuring roasted mushrooms and toasted pumpkin seeds, Skull of the Dead Dip with barbacoa beef and plantain chips, and Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken dressed up with candied bacon and hot honey sauce. The returning Ailen Invader Sliders (Nashville hot fried chicken on a cheddar-chive biscuit) are also back.
The drink menu is equally ambitious. New cocktails include the Temple of Doom Margarita made with Patrón Silver Tequila and blackberry purée, the Skull and Sour with Jameson Irish Whiskey and pumpkin spice syrup, and the Midnight Relic blending Tito's Handmade Vodka with ube syrup and edible glitter. Non-drinkers can sip the Viper's Nest, a colorful mocktail built on DOLE Pineapple Juice, blue curaçao syrup, and butterfly pea extract.
Beyond the Hangar Bar, Amorette's Patisserie will offer a new Candle Petit Cake and The Ganachery is introducing a Pumpkin Spice S'more. Disney Parks Blog notes that Halloween treats will also be rolling out at EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom in the weeks ahead.
