Walt Disney World has filed several Notices of Commencement for general construction work at Disney Springs, including one for the pedestrian bridge over the lagoon between the Marketplace and Town Center areas.
The bridge filing lists Buena Vista Construction Company, Disney's in-house construction firm, as the contractor. Disney has not announced whether the bridge will close or when any work might begin, though a temporary closure could require visitors to use a longer walking route between the two neighborhoods.
Additional filings name Paddlefish, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, UNIQLO, The LEGO Store, the Happy Hound merchandise kiosk and The BOATHOUSE. Disney has not publicly shared the scope of work planned for those locations.
