Walt Disney World has pulled back the curtain on several key spaces inside Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, the nature-inspired waterfront resort slated to open along Bay Lake in Summer 2027. Fresh concept art and official details reveal the resort's lobby design, three dining venues, and an upper-level terrace with fireworks views — giving fans the most complete picture yet of what to expect from this long-anticipated property.
Guests arriving at the resort will enter a light-filled lobby featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking The Wetlands outdoor recreation area. The space draws inspiration from Pocahontas, with a fiber-optic river illuminating the floor and a blown-glass "Colors of the Wind" sculpture — made up of hundreds of suspended glass leaves — anchoring the ceiling. River-recovered cypress wood accents and custom tapestries round out the nature-forward design.
Three dining concepts will serve the resort when it opens. Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace, will offer specialty coffees and fresh fare in an open-kitchen setting with woodland critter details hidden throughout. Two additional dining experiences focused on waterfront views are also planned, with Disney promising further details in the months ahead as active sales approach.
The 967-accommodation resort — ranging from studios and multi-bedroom villas to standalone waterfront Lake Houses — will also feature a sprawling pool complex with a lazy river, a leisure pool, and a dedicated boat dock. An upper-level terrace designed for fireworks viewing adds another draw for guests looking to take in Magic Kingdom's nighttime spectaculars from the resort itself.
