Walt Disney World's next resort is taking shape. Disney has shared new details about Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, a nature-themed property along Bay Lake set to welcome its first guests in summer 2027. The 967-room hotel draws design inspiration from Disney's Pocahontas, with artwork and a lobby featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over an outdoor recreation zone called The Wetlands.
Dining will be a centerpiece of the experience. The resort will include Moonglade, a waterfront table-service restaurant, alongside Bay Lake Provisions for quick-service meals and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill poolside. Guests looking to wind down in the evening can head to Dandelion Terrace, a Bay Lake-facing lounge with views of Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks show.
The Wetlands outdoor area promises plenty of ways to spend a lazy Florida afternoon — a zero-entry pool, a lazy river, a leisure pool with fireworks sightlines, and dedicated children's play areas are all part of the plan.
