Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is continuing to take shape at Walt Disney World, with new aerial photos showing completed installation of two giant otter sculptures and their slides in The Wetlands pool area. The otters are named Addy and Bonnie.
More decking has been added around The Wetlands, which is planned to include a pool, lazy river and water play area. Crane sculptures are also in place beside the lazy river, while sections of a spiral waterslide were visible in the pool awaiting installation.
The zero-entry feature pool at The Wetlands will be called Lakeshore Lagoon. Real palm trees have been planted, while the quieter Cypress Point pool has seen little visible change beyond additional decking.

Elsewhere, exterior sheathing and paneling work continues on the resort, including a completed tree mural on one wing. Roofing has advanced across the property, particularly at Moonglade, the resort’s lakefront restaurant.
