If you have a stay booked at Disney's Beach Club Villas in the coming weeks, it's worth knowing that the resort's lobby is currently in the middle of a phased refurbishment. Construction will continue through mid-September, and during that time portions of the lobby may be temporarily closed off, with alternate pathways in place to guide guests around the work zones.

The noise and activity will be contained to daytime hours — crews are scheduled to work from 10 AM to 6 PM — so early risers heading to rope drop and evening guests returning from the parks should have a quieter experience on either end of the day.

The work is happening in phases, so the full lobby won't necessarily be blocked off all at once, but it's smart to go in with realistic expectations rather than be surprised by scaffolding or construction sounds on arrival.

Despite the temporary inconvenience, Beach Club Villas remains one of the most convenient bases for an EPCOT-focused trip. Guests can walk directly into EPCOT through the International Gateway entrance near the France and United Kingdom pavilions, access the Skyliner at that same gateway for easy trips to Hollywood Studios and other resorts, and take advantage of boat transportation shared among the nearby Yacht Club, Beach Club, and BoardWalk properties.
