Walt Disney World resort guests can purchase a refillable mug for $22.99 plus tax in 2027, with fountain drinks, coffee and tea available at participating beverage locations at Disney resort hotels.
The mug is a one-time purchase rather than a daily charge, according to Disney’s refillable resort mug program terms. It is sold at the primary quick-service dining location at Disney resort hotels, including food courts at many Value resorts.
Each mug uses an RFID chip that stays active for a guest’s resort stay, up to a maximum of 14 days. Guests staying longer than two weeks, including those with extended or back-to-back reservations, would need another mug after that period if they want continued refill access.
The refill benefit is not limited to the hotel where a guest is staying. Mugs can be used at participating locations across Disney resort hotels, though not every beverage station is included. Guests should look for designated refill stations.
Planning Your Trip
Undercover Tourist is an authorized seller of Walt Disney World hotel and ticket packages, often with savings over booking direct.
Disney’s refillable resort mugs do not provide refills in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They also do not work at Disney Springs, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Older mugs from previous visits cannot be reactivated for a new trip.
Guests using one of Disney’s 2027 dining plans receive a refillable mug as part of the plan, including the Quick-Service, Table-Service and Deluxe Table-Service options. For travelers planning Walt Disney World tickets and a resort stay, the mug rules may be useful to factor in alongside dining plans and the length of the visit.
