Disney PhotoPass Now Offers Pro Portrait Sessions at WDW Resorts

Disney PhotoPass has launched a new upscale photography experience at Walt Disney World Resort called Signature Portrait Sessions, giving guests a dedicated professional shoot at two of the property's most iconic resort hotels. Sessions take place at either Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, with its Victorian grandeur, or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, with its lush tropical atmosphere — and both venues offer a mix of indoor and outdoor locations.

Each 40-minute session is priced at $399 and is led by a specially trained Disney PhotoPass photographer and assistant who bring professional lighting and camera equipment. Props are available to personalize the shoot, and all delivered images receive professional retouching before landing in a guest's Disney PhotoPass gallery via the My Disney Experience app. Most parties of fewer than 10 guests can expect to receive around 60 finished photos, though the exact number varies depending on group size and how many locations are visited during the session.

A few practical details worth knowing before booking: full payment is required at the time of reservation, and cancellations made within 24 hours of the session — or no-shows — are charged the full amount. Photos can take up to a week to appear in a guest's gallery after the session wraps. Guests 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older, and while there's no strict party size cap, groups larger than 10 are encouraged to book two back-to-back sessions starting 60 minutes apart.
