Disney has pulled back the curtain on Disney Lakeshore Lodge, sharing the first detailed look at the resort's lobby and four guest venues ahead of its planned summer 2027 opening at Walt Disney World Resort. The reveal covers three dining locations and a dedicated fireworks lounge, each rooted in the property's nature-forward, Disney-storytelling identity.
The lobby sets the tone immediately. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area, while a fiberoptic river winds across the lobby floor beneath a ceiling filled with a blown glass sculpture called Colors of the Wind — hundreds of suspended glass leaves designed to ripple with movement and color. Custom tapestries inspired by Pocahontas and furnishings accented with river-recovered cypress wood round out the space.
Three dining venues will serve guests from morning through evening. Moonglade is the resort's lakefront table-service restaurant, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Bay Lake and a menu built around seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Bay Lake Provisions functions as an all-day quick-service marketplace handling specialty coffees and fresh grab-and-go fare, with hidden woodland critter details tucked throughout the space for guests to discover. Paint Out Point Bar & Grill sits near Lakeside Lagoon as the resort's pool bar, serving shareable bites and specialty drinks alongside original plein-air artwork created by Walt Disney Imagineers inspired by the Bay Lake landscape.
Rounding out the venues is Dandelion Terrace, a two-story lounge positioned specifically for watching Magic Kingdom fireworks over Bay Lake after dark. The interior features a gallery of archival artwork from Disney classics including Fantasia, with whimsical dandelion light fixtures throughout.
