Wrestling fans who also love a good cruise vacation may have something to look forward to: a themed WWE experience aboard Disney Cruise Line is reportedly being explored as part of a growing relationship between WWE's parent company TKO Group Holdings and The Walt Disney Company.
The rumor originates from Wrestle Votes Radio, which cited a source familiar with WWE's thinking. The idea is described as a natural business fit, though nothing has been formally announced. Separately, TKO Group Holdings President and COO Mark Shapiro confirmed this week that WWE and Disney are developing "special events" designed to bring their family audiences together in 2027 — though he offered no specifics on format, timing, or location.
There's also speculation that WWE talent could begin appearing in Disney+ programming over the next year, further weaving the two brands together at the content level.
The broader partnership is anchored by a landmark media-rights deal struck in August 2025, when ESPN became the exclusive U.S. home of WWE's marquee Premium Live Events under a five-year agreement. The deal — valued at roughly $1.6 billion, or about $325 million per year according to CNBC — covers major tentpoles like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. Events stream in full on ESPN's direct-to-consumer service, with select coverage also available on ESPN's linear channels. The partnership launched ahead of schedule with Wrestlepalooza in September 2025.
