Disney Cruise Line's already ambitious expansion just got a little more ambitious. According to The Walt Disney Company's earnings report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, two upcoming ships have been pulled forward by a full calendar year, meaning the fleet will hit 13 ships by 2030 rather than the previously planned 2031.
The updated launch schedule now looks like this: the Disney Believe is expected in late 2027, followed by an as-yet-unnamed Ship 11 in 2029, an Oriental Land Company vessel also in 2029, and then Ship 12 in late 2029 and Ship 13 in late 2030. That makes 2029 a particularly big year, with three ships set to debut in a single calendar year.
The Oriental Land Company ship is a notable addition — OLC owns and operates Tokyo Disney Resort, and this will be the first of what Disney describes as multiple ships for that partner. The vessel is a Wish-class ship, putting it in the same family as the Disney Wish already sailing today.
On the Disney Believe front, fans won't have to wait long for more information: Disney has promised a dedicated livestream in October to reveal new details about the ship. In related news, the executive who most recently oversaw Disney Cruise Line's parent division, Joe Schott, has transitioned into his new role as President of Walt Disney World Resort.
