Disney Cruise Line has signed a 15-year agreement with Huna Totem Corporation that guarantees the line preferential berthing rights at Icy Strait Point, the Alaska destination owned and operated by the Huna Toowú Tl’átgi, the Huna Tlingit people.
Under the terms of the deal, Disney Cruise Line has also committed to an annual passenger guarantee, ensuring a steady and predictable flow of guests to the port through at least 2041.
Icy Strait Point, located near Hoonah on Chichagof Island, is one of Alaska's more distinctive port stops, known for its wild setting, Indigenous cultural experiences, and the world's largest ZipRider. The long-term commitment signals that Alaska sailings will remain a meaningful part of Disney Cruise Line's itinerary planning well into the future.
For guests sailing Disney's Alaska itineraries, the agreement provides confidence that Icy Strait Point will continue to be a regular port of call for years to come.
