Disney Cruise Line is moving faster than expected toward its goal of a 13-ship fleet. According to details shared in Disney's Q3 2026 earnings report, the company has shifted two ships earlier in its launch schedule, meaning the entire expanded fleet could be fully operational by the end of 2030 — a full year sooner than previously announced.
The most immediate addition is the Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class ship, which remains on track for a late 2027 debut. Disney has scheduled a livestream reveal event for October 7th, 2026, where more details about the Believe are expected to be shared.
Looking further ahead, 2029 is shaping up to be a particularly busy year for the line. Three ships are now planned to launch that year: Ship 11, Ship 12 (moved up from its original 2029–2030 slot), and a fifth Wish-class vessel that will be operated by Oriental Land Company — the organization behind Tokyo Disney Resort — and will sail from Japan. Ship 13 has also been accelerated and is now expected to arrive in 2030 rather than 2031.
The three unnamed vessels launching in 2029 and 2030 will introduce a new, smaller ship class that fits between Disney's existing Magic-class and Dream-class ships in size. Disney has not yet revealed names for the OLC-operated ship or any of the three new-class vessels, though with D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event approaching, announcements may come soon.
