Walt Disney World has yet to announce the concept, opening date or menu for a new quick-service restaurant planned for Disney’s BoardWalk.
The restaurant was first included in Disney’s June announcement of three upcoming BoardWalk experiences, alongside Hurly-Burly and a Basin shop. Disney had said more details would arrive later in summer 2026, but the dining location remains unnamed as of the latest update cited by Disney Tourist Blog.
A recent issue of Disney Files, the Disney Vacation Club member magazine, described the restaurant as a “soon-to-be-announced” counter-service dining destination. The wording indicates the project is still planned, though it did not provide new specifics.
The restaurant is expected to occupy the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works location on the BoardWalk. The table-service restaurant and sports bar closed in January 2024. Disney has not publicly confirmed the location or released a timeline in the material provided.
