Disney Cruise Line has announced it will unveil details about its upcoming ship, the Disney Believe, during a livestream on October 7, 2026. The vessel is slated to set sail in 2027 and is described as being inspired by "promise, possibility, and what lies beyond the horizon."
Guests already booked on the October 5 sailing of the Disney Wish will get a little something extra: a one-night-only performance on October 7 inspired by the Disney Believe, featuring Susan Egan — the voice of Megara and the original Belle on Broadway. Egan also holds the title of Godparent of the Disney Destiny.
When the ship's name was first announced, Disney teased theming rooted in Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid. The new livestream announcement video expands that list further, hinting at worlds from Inside Out, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Monsters, Inc., and Tangled as well.
The Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. A fifth Wish-class ship is already on the books for 2029. Like most of the fleet, the Believe is being assembled at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
