Disney’s Animal Kingdom is scheduled to offer Extended Evening Hours for eligible Deluxe Resort guests on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Monday, Oct. 26. The park will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on those dates, an uncommon late-night opportunity at Animal Kingdom.
According to Disney Food Blog, the attractions listed for those Extended Evening Hours are Avatar Flight of Passage, Na’vi River Journey, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Eligible guests include those staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villas, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green, among other listed accommodations.
Guests visiting Animal Kingdom in October should also plan around shorter hours for Kilimanjaro Safaris. Beginning Oct. 4, the attraction is expected to close daily at 4:45 p.m., while the park is scheduled to remain open until 6 p.m. Safari hours are posted outside the attraction and on Disney World’s website.
Meanwhile, construction is continuing in the closed section of the park being prepared for Pueblo Esperanza, the Tropical Americas-themed land Disney has announced for 2027. Disney Food Blog said visitors may see and hear daytime construction activity in that area.
