Magic Kingdom's beloved Diamond Horseshoe is getting a seasonal makeover this fall, reopening on October 4 as a cowboy-themed lounge with a brand-new food and drink menu. The transformation is temporary, giving guests a fresh reason to step inside the historic venue during what's shaping up to be a busy stretch at the park.
One thing worth flagging before you start planning: reservations don't follow the usual Disney World rules here. While most dining reservations open at 6 AM Eastern Time, Disney has quietly set the Diamond Horseshoe's reservation window to open at 8 PM Eastern Time on September 29 — so no early-morning alarm needed, but you'll want to have a reminder set for that evening slot. Walk-ins will also be welcomed after the reopening, and the venue has historically posted a sign outside on slower days indicating availability.
The menu leans fully into its Wild West theme. Small plates include glazed sticky ribs with cowboy beans and jalapeño crisps, queso fundido with barbecue burnt ends, chipotle chicken tostada with pickled cactus salsa, sweet golden corn fritters with cilantro ranch and red chili honey, and a charcuterie board featuring cured beef, smoked pork, candied bacon, and green chile cheese. A mini hot dog platter — wrapped in pastry and served with tortilla chips and queso — rounds out the savory bites.
On the drinks side, non-alcoholic options include an Orange Cream Soda, a Caramel Root Beer with Sweet Cream, and a couple of lemonade-based beverages. The cocktail list covers a Cactus Rose Margarita with LALO Blanco Tequila and prickly pear, a Whinnyin' Whiskey Lemonade with Jack Daniel's and Aperol, a Coal'd Fashioned with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, a High Plains Huckleberry with 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka, and a Rattler Rum Punch built on Bacardí Superior Rum with tropical fruit.
