Crystal Cruises has shared its first renderings of the family-focused spaces aboard Crystal Grace, the luxury line's newest ship set to debut in 2028. The 650-passenger vessel is being designed with multigenerational travel in mind — think grandparents, parents, and kids all sailing together — and the amenities reflect that vision throughout deck 10 and 11.
Teens aged 13 to 17 will have a dedicated hangout called the Waves Teen Centre, described as the largest space for that age group anywhere in Crystal's fleet. The lounge comes equipped with an oversized gaming and film screen, a dance floor with a full sound system, and areas for card and board games. Programming runs daily, with expanded activities during peak family travel windows like summer and the Christmas holidays.
Younger children — ages three to 12 — will be looked after in a refreshed version of the Fantasia Children's Playroom, where parents can either drop kids off for supervised activities or stay and participate themselves. For evenings out, the ship also offers in-room babysitting starting at $10 per hour, per child. Meanwhile, a separate family zone on deck 11 features a shallow pool and outdoor recreational games for guests of all ages to enjoy together.
The ship's Seahorse Pool will be the largest in the Crystal fleet, flanked by 140 loungers and a pool bar spread across decks 10 and 11. Sixty private cabanas — a first for Crystal — will also be available on deck 11. A large outdoor LED screen will show live sports, destination programming, and movie nights. Crystal Grace's inaugural voyage is an eight-night sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Venice, departing June 11, 2028, with fares starting from £7,600 per person.
