EPCOT's Coral Reef Restaurant has a return date on the books. Disney has confirmed that the lakeside dining spot will close for an extended refurbishment on September 8, 2026, and reservation availability is opening back up beginning November 4, 2026.
When the restaurant reopens, it will continue operating as a dinner-only venue — a shift that was already in place before the closure. Guests can book a table starting at 4:00 p.m. Lunch service will not be returning, at least at reopening.
The restaurant is known for its Florida Coastal Cuisine menu, which leans into ocean-fresh ingredients and Gulf-influenced flavors. Signature offerings have included Lobster Bisque, Grilled Snapper, Surf and Turf, and Shrimp Fettuccine, along with kid-friendly options like grilled fish or chicken. The dining room's floor-to-ceiling views into The Seas with Nemo & Friends aquarium remain one of its most distinctive draws.
With the refurbishment wrapping up just ahead of the busy holiday season, the timing gives guests a chance to snag a November or December reservation at one of EPCOT's more atmospheric table-service spots. Those planning a holiday visit may want to check Walt Disney World tickets and dining plans sooner rather than later, as the post-reopening calendar tends to fill quickly.
