If a table beside a giant aquarium is your idea of a perfect EPCOT dinner, you'll want to adjust your plans. Coral Reef Restaurant, the long-running dining spot tucked inside the Seas Pavilion, has officially closed for refurbishment and will remain unavailable through November 4th.
Disney announced the closure, which began recently. The restaurant has always had a devoted following thanks to its one-of-a-kind setting — guests dine right alongside the pavilion's massive aquarium, with fish, rays, and other sea life gliding past the windows. That said, opinions on the food itself have been more divided over the years, making it one of EPCOT's more hotly debated reservations.
The good news: the timing isn't terrible. The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing right now, meaning the park is loaded with food and drink options at booths throughout the World Showcase and beyond. Many seasoned EPCOT visitors actually prefer grazing the festival booths over sitting down for a full table-service meal during festival season anyway.
