Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall — a self-guided, roughly eight-minute experience tucked inside the park's iconic centerpiece — is scheduled to close on October 1, 2026, with no confirmed reopening date. That makes September 30 the last guaranteed day guests can wander through its storybook rooms before the doors shut indefinitely.
The attraction invites visitors to explore a series of rooms decorated with paintings, dioramas, and artwork inspired by Disney's 1950 animated Cinderella film. Highlights include a recreation of Cinderella's glass slipper and her throne room — two features specifically called out on Tokyo Disney Resort's own attraction listing. Unlike a traditional ride, the experience unfolds at each guest's own pace, making it a quieter, more intimate corner of the otherwise bustling park.
Tokyo Disney Resort's official refurbishment calendar lists the closure end date simply as "TBD," placing Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall among only a small number of attractions without a scheduled return. The resort has not announced what work — maintenance, upgrades, or something else entirely — will take place during the closure, and cautions that refurbishment schedules are always subject to change.
The good news for castle fans: the closure is not total. The Glass Slipper, a Fantasyland shop within the castle that sells decorative glassware and hosts live glass-cutting demonstrations, is not listed among the October 1 closures. Guests should still be able to access portions of the castle's lower level. Other Tokyo Disneyland refurbishments happening around the same time — including the Enchanted Tiki Room (September 24–October 23) and Dumbo the Flying Elephant (through October 22) — do have scheduled end dates, making the open-ended Fairy Tale Hall closure stand out.
