Celebrity Cruises is running a limited-time Double Points promotion that gives Captain's Club loyalty members twice the usual points on select sailings — and it doesn't come around often. The last time the cruise line offered something similar was during the early post-pandemic restart period, making this a genuinely rare opportunity for cruisers looking to climb the loyalty ranks faster.
To qualify, new bookings must be made between September 8 and September 21, 2026, on select sailings departing between October 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027. As a practical example, a seven-night Veranda cabin booking would earn 42 points instead of the standard 21, while suite passengers on a weeklong voyage could rack up more than 330 points. Solo travelers get an even sweeter deal — three times the normal points. The double points apply to a maximum of two eligible sailings per guest, and the promotion cannot be added to existing bookings retroactively.
The promotion is combinable with a wide range of Celebrity's own offers, including BOGO75, Instant Savings, Weekend Flash Sales, Captain's Club Discounts, and Shareholder Benefits, among others. However, a few key exclusions apply: MoveUp bids and Transatlantic or Transpacific sailings do not qualify.
One important caveat for cruisers who also sail Royal Caribbean: the bonus points earned through this promotion cannot be transferred to Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society through the Royal Caribbean Group's Points Choice Program. Celebrity's own website confirms that promotional or bonus Captain's Club points are explicitly excluded from the Points Choice transfer option. Anyone who transfers their Celebrity points to Crown & Anchor during this period would forfeit the promotional bonus entirely.
