Carnival Cruise Line’s upcoming Carnival Festivale is expected to arrive in Florida in 2027, joining the line’s Excel Class fleet after a transatlantic maiden voyage from Southampton, England.
The 182,015-gross-ton ship is scheduled to depart Southampton on May 2, 2027, on a 15-night crossing. Once in Florida, Carnival Festivale is planned to sail year-round from Port Canaveral, primarily on six- and eight-night Caribbean itineraries.
Carnival says the ship will carry up to 5,356 guests and feature music-themed areas, new dining and bar concepts, and family attractions. Its Sunsation Point area is set to include what the cruise line describes as its most family-focused water park yet.
Carnival Festivale will join Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee as the fourth Excel Class vessel. The 2027 lineup also includes several other new ships across the industry, ranging from small luxury yachts to large family-oriented cruise ships. Source: Cruise Mummy.
