Disney responded by relocating some affected guests to other Walt Disney World resorts, with Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney's Old Key West Resort receiving displaced Boulder Ridge visitors. For families already unpacked and settled in — groceries bought, transportation routines established — the mid-stay move is no small disruption.
Financial relief is part of Disney's response as well. Refunds and billing adjustments are reportedly being offered to affected guests, including both those who relocate and some who choose to remain at Boulder Ridge.
