If you've been watching Wine Bar George's Uncorked event series at Disney Springs fill up — and fill up fast — here's your heads-up on the latest addition. A Borgogno Wine Dinner has been added to the lineup for Thursday, October 1st at 6:30 PM, giving wine lovers one more chance to snag a seat at one of the most immersive dining experiences in the area.
The evening centers on Borgogno, a Piedmont winery founded in 1761 and widely regarded as one of the oldest producers in the region. The focus, naturally, is on Barolo. Borgogno's Fabio Valpreda and Wine Bar George Executive Chef Will Davison will co-host a six-course dinner, with each dish designed to complement the estate's structured, elegant reds. The event runs three hours and is priced at $345 per person.
Context matters here: this isn't a series with lots of open seats to spare. Of the nine events in the current Uncorked season, at least five are already sold out — including a Riesling master class, a cocktail session, and the Grand Event featuring Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The October 1st Borgogno dinner is one of the few remaining events still open for reservations.
Other events still available include Five Decades of Dunn, Howell Mountain Cabernets on October 3rd, a Craft Cocktails session on October 10th, Truffles, Pasta & the Perfect Pour on October 17th (already sold out as of the latest update), and the Once & Future Winemakers Dinner on October 28th.
