Bazaar47’s Florida night market tour arrives in downtown Jacksonville on Oct. 7 as part of the First Wednesday Downtown Jacksonville Art Walk.

The Gainesville-based event series will take over five city blocks in connection with Downtown Vision, stretching from James Weldon Johnson Park to Riverfront Plaza. Organizers say the October Art Walk will be its largest edition since 2019.

The Jacksonville stop will spotlight vendors, artists, musicians and other creatives from Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Programming is set to include live music, DJ booths, an art auction, dance classes, community murals, film screenings and a walkable art tunnel, among other family-friendly activities.

Bazaar47 owner Laila Fakhoury told News4JAX that the event has moved from last year’s Legacy Studios location in Springfield and the Phoenix Arts District to downtown after local placemaking and downtown groups invited the tour to participate in Art Walk.

The tour began Aug. 8 at Casselberry Arts Center in Orlando and has also visited South Florida. After Jacksonville, remaining stops include Gainesville on Oct. 24 in conjunction with The Fest 24, Tampa on Nov. 21 at a location to be announced, and Gainesville again on Dec. 5. Markets are free to attend except for the South Florida stop, according to Bazaar47.
