EPCOT's World Showcase is known for its international pavilions and cultural immersion, but a quietly placed Easter egg in the United Kingdom Pavilion is giving Marvel fans a reason to stop and look a little closer. Cast members have recently swapped in several Avengers-themed framed crests inside The Crown & Crest, the heraldry-focused gift shop tucked within the UK Pavilion.
The new additions include artwork styled around Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (Captain America), along with pieces incorporating the colors and country associations of Thor, Loki, Black Widow, and Hawkeye — all drawing inspiration from the original 2012 Avengers film. A separate plaque themed to Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, can be found elsewhere in the store.
The placement actually makes a lot of sense for the shop. The Crown & Crest is built around the concept of personalized coats of arms and heraldic design, and its sample displays have long mixed in pop culture references alongside traditional family crests — previous examples have included pieces tied to Brave and even Taylor Swift. The Avengers additions fit neatly into that playful tradition.
