Tampa's arts scene is about to get a major moment in the spotlight. The inaugural Art Fair Tampa is set for October 15–18, 2026, at the Tampa Convention Center, bringing together 300 artists from across the globe for four days of contemporary art, cultural exchange, and immersive experiences.
The indoor setting at the Convention Center keeps things comfortable for visitors — no Florida heat to contend with — while offering a curated environment suited to both viewing and acquiring original work. The event is designed to draw collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts alongside a broader public audience interested in the creative programming and installations on offer.
Organizers are aiming high from the start. Lead organizer Tyler Sirota has expressed hopes that Art Fair Tampa will grow into one of the largest indoor art conventions in the country. Santiago Corrada, president and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, noted that the fair reflects Tampa Bay's rising profile as a destination for arts and culture on both a domestic and international level.
The event also carves out meaningful space for local talent. Tampa-based artists will have the chance to show their work on the same platform as internationally recognized names — something the city's creative community has been looking forward to, according to Tampa artist Chase Parker.
