Disney's Animal Kingdom has retired its Cool Kids Summer map and replaced it with a new edition called "Fun for Families with Kids." The swap keeps much of the familiar layout intact but introduces enough changes to make the new map worth a look if your family is visiting this fall.
The front cover gets a fresh cast of characters: Chip and Dale, Bluey, Nemo and Dory, Judy Hopps, and Pocahontas now grace the blue cover, replacing the Simba, Nemo and Crush, Bluey and Bingo, and Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps lineup from the summer edition. The Tree of Life illustration carries over, but the little paper Mickey ears that topped the Cool Kids Summer maps are gone.
Inside, the layout is largely unchanged — kid-friendly food suggestions, favorite-animal journaling space, and callouts for attractions like Zootopia: Better Together and Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station all remain. One notable omission: a Lemur training experience that was previously listed under the "Discovery Island Animal Care" section no longer appears in the new map.
The back panel sees the biggest visual refresh, trading the Cool Kids Summer map's neon green color for light blue. It also swaps out the Bluey-themed maze for a "Match The Tracks" footprint game, and closes with a prompt asking kids to record their favorite memory from the park.
